Original Green

Can be considered as the bicycle home "green machines"?
I always thought that motorcycles, especially Harley had two-stroke engines. I had heard before the 2-stroke engines were worse than other types of engines. This motorcycle is not so bad for the environment cars? Except perhaps only 1 or 2 people can ride one, where a vehicle can accommodate four people or more.
2 strokes are environmentally worse than four times as that generate more emissions of NOx and unburned hydrocarbons more. In short, a system of ranges carbureted 2-stroke first dump lots of fuel and oil directly to air (things are a little better with fuel injection). Harley-Davidson has been a series of small Made in Italy two-stroke, but that was long time. United Real Harleys use (and have always used) 4-stroke engines. Your confusion probably stems from the fact that they are two-cylinder 4-stroke. As for bikes being green machines, depending on the bike and what is measured. The wheels have always been more clean cars when it comes to emissions of greenhouse gases greenhouse. They produce less greenhouse gases green because they consume less fuel. But if we measure the actual emissions of toxic substances, it really depends on the bike. Small Motorcycles dirty secret is that until recently, the exhaust of the motorcycle were very dirty, probably dirtier than the family car. Most motorcycles are not no emissions control, or very basic, and carburetors. Meanwhile, for several decades, cars have met the standards of increasingly stringent emissions and therefore, we now have very clean exhaust. This situation has recently begun to change with the enlargement of the EU exhaust emission standards to include motorcycles. This has led to a change in jet fuel and industry-wide adoption of catalytic converters on motorcycles more. Wheels with ball-conservatives and the injection Fuel can be said that the green machines, but these are certainly not green.
