How to get used to my orthotics?

I suffered a foot injury last summer, and after all was said and Indeed, a pair of inserts made for me. I received them in late December and I was said that the gradual increase of one hour every day to get used to. my situation is that, as in most of the inserts, I can use with sneakers and, unfortunately, I can not always use the type of boots. Now, when you begin to use inserts again, my foot hurt again. I know I'm not in this track and I really want to get used to, but the problems are not able to use seven days weeks initially. Suggestions? Thanks! PS I must say that I am an avid runner and want to return so, so wrong. My wound bow just be repeated if the documentation says that if I can correct my form walk with the inserts. Help!

Hello Willow, I do not know if this is possible (or recommended), but if you can not get to see the orthopedic surgeon for weeks could see an orthopedic shoe? He / she could probably give you exercises and advice to help the pain. I had a fantastic experience with a recently pedorthist for a minor foot problem and she gave some exercises to help as well as braces and is very generic to me. We hope this helps? Kenneth Best
