I’m looking to get more life out of my computer. Your job is to breathe life into her. It will need……..
… a new motherboard and graphics card. I use it for gaming and programming. Gaming, of course, is where it is most lacking.
Without further ado, I give you the specs:

Dual LCD (19”, 17”)
* ATI 9700 Pro
DVD +/- RW
*needs immediate replacement
In summary, this computer (1) needs a new motherboard, and (2) a new graphics card that can handle two LCD monitors. What mobo / graphics combo would best mesh with the current equipment?

I’m afraid this isn’t socket-478, so it won’t support my 478-pin Pentium 4.
Don’t know about the motherboard (They don’t make 478’s any more), but maybe a BFG GeForce 7800 GS OC series… They sell it in both AGP and PCI-e.
