How to record from pc to mini dv (camcorder)?

…if is possible. I want to star using mini dv tapes instead of hard drive space or dvd’s. Because they will last longer. (excuse my english)
Plus I need to know what mini dv cam is good enough for the job at low price too (if it has extra features better yet like a lot of optical zoom and flash included). Thanks.

IF the camcorder has the AV-in feature, you would normally use the AV cables.

Most camcorders do not have the feature – but when they do, the instructions are in the camcorder manual.

You did not tell us what the camcorder manufacturer or model number is so there is no way for us to know… or if you are looking for one – the last time I checked, the Sony DCR-HC96 was the ones recommended by the helmet cam companies. Sony has not made it for a while, but there are some still available.
