I need info on buying a handicap van, and fixing it for me?

I have one leg but am agile for my age[82] and need to buy a van equiped with auto doors and ramp for scooter or wheelchair.

You should probably talk with your doctor to see if he/she can refer you to a social worker or care manager who knows organizations in your area who see handicapped vans. Also if you’re active in a house of worship, talk to your religious leader – he/she may have info for you.

I found some sites online for companies who sell them, but their prices seemed high – they’re trying to make a profit after all – so maybe the people who know you in your community can provide you with better leads.
