How can I make my T90 Laser II’s fit?

Recently I just bought a pair of the Nike T90 Laser II’s and they are slightly too big. They’re not oversized enough to buy a smaller size, but enough to bother me during a game. I’ve had suggestions from teammates to soak them in warm water and then wear them so that they mold to my feet. I’ve also been considering buying a very small insert to make the shoe more snug. Do you have any tips or recommendations for making the shoes fit better?
