Lots of questions regarding Breast Reduction…I need everyone help…..?

I am 5′2″ 140LB bra size is 36DDD 30 years old. Last year I sprained my back; after that I have been having back problems. I never went back to the dr. regarding my health issue. I have been taking OTC med’s for pain as needed. I have an Dr’s appt on next week to discuss my medical problems I have been having. Due to my large size breast, I have been having back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, skin problem around by breast, shoulder indention due to the bra straps, and discomfort when I’m sleeping. A dr. never told me the problems I am having are due to my large breast but I think it is. I am going to ask the dr. to request a referral to see a PC to talk about breast reduction. Do you think the insurance co (Cigna) will pay for the breast reduction? If so, How long will I be out of work? I work in a office. Also how painful it is? And anything that may help me get approved by Cigna insurance co.or anything about breast reduction Cons and Pros is greatly appreciated

i just got a reduction 3 days ago, and would be happy to answer anything i can. i am active duty military, so uncle sam picked up the bill for me, but my surgeon did tell me on the civilian side, many insurance companies will only pay if you get more than 500 grams removed. i was a 34 ddd and went down to a c which meant 357 grams removed.
normal convalescent leave time is around 10 days, not any less, but maybe more, depending on if you have any issues. i went in on the 14th and even tho it has only been a few days, i think i’ll be ready to go back to work on the 25th.
it does hurt, but that’s to be expected. to be honest, it hurts less than what i was dreading, but still definitely grateful for pain meds, the way my surgeon is doing it, i went in the day after to check for any possible issues and to place clean dressing on. this coming tuesday i will be going in again to get sutures removed, ace bandages off and go home in a normal sports bra.
