Why not intensive care units have bathrooms or shower in the room of the patient?
Each hospital worked in required patient use a bedpan. I always wondered why.
Because in an intensive care unit, patients are often in a critical condition that should not be walking to the bathroom. These people are seriously ill and the time that many can not even stand up. It is therefore an intensive care unit, is where people are more sick.
