Girls that have to wear knee socks as part of your school uniforms.Do you feel that guys wearing school shorts?

Should guys be required to wear knee socks as you have to? Should they wear the same knee socks as you or tube knee socks or anklets?

I think guys should wear knee socks (or at least three quarter length) if they wear school shorts if girls have to wear knee socks with skirts. It’s no big deal and used to be normal. Still is in some countries like New Zealand wear they dress like that up to 18 (as they did in some British boarding schools).

It’s a case of looking smart not just gender equality. If worn in the colder weather (as more and more guys seem to want to do these days) then long socks are also more practical

The socks don’t have to be the same colour etc but should not be tube socks or other sports socks if girls don’t wear them.

They don’t have to be grey shorts/socks but say navy blue dress shorts with long navy blue turnover top socks like are golf players wear with shorts. Other colour combinations can include black shorts and socks or black socks with navy shorts or oatmeal/beige shorts and socks.

It could even be argued that if girls can’t wear trousers and have to wear skirts winter and summer guys should have to shorts do the same, but I suspect that would be highly contentious.
