i have an outdoor pool with an inflatable ring.the ring has a leak i cannot locate.how do i fix?help.?

i have tried soap and water (bubbles).i have also used spray on adhesive,with my fingers crossed hoping.w/out the ring up the water flows over the edge of pool.i dont want to buy a whole new pool because of a leak in a ring.i am considering getting the great stuff anexpansion foam and put under the outside edge,i am out of ideas in missouri.if you have ever hsd this problem b-4 and solved please let me know thanks.

If you know the aproximate area of the leak, coat it with clear, silicone caulk. I use this to fix air mattresses. It’s waterproof, and pretty durable. GE Window and Door is what I use, about $5 a tube, and a cheap caulking gun and a plastic putty knife, or even a piece of cardboard. It sticks well to plastic. If you get it on your hands, it is easy to peel of when dry. Leave it outside to dry, it does have an odor. Can temporarily build up heels of worn sneaks as well, although “Shoe Goo” works better for that.
never tried “Shoe Goo” for a hole patch. Don’t get real cheap caulk. It won’t last.
