Ideas to make a standard bathroom more comfortable?

I move to a new location in the bathtub is the norm – in the enclosed space and back is up against the wall, flat. I want to redo the bathroom in a spa-like decor, but as a renter, I'm bound I can do the tub. All ideas and / or products we recommend for making the back of the tub more comfortable?
