Spine Neck

What exactly does a chiropractor for adjustment of your spine and neck?
I am doing a project on chiropractic care. I wonder what exactly is a chiropractor looking for when testing the spine. Like when you run your hands in the back, what they want. And how do you know where to apply pressure? Please help me understand the process of its methods and techniques. Thanks!
There are many techniques used to detect subluxations. The most common use of X-ray, motion palpation and static palpation. Chiropractors are trained to detect minor misalignments (subluxations), through a series of measures, x-ray radiographs (X rays). Most of these X-rays should be taken into a weight-bearing position (ie standing) to see how the vertebrae are connected with stress. Some chiropractors also use motion X-ray (fluoroscopy) to take a picture of how they relate to each other in motion. Motion palpation is used to help a chiropractor feel limitation of movement between the vertebrae. Most chiropractic spend years this practice is really an art. It is difficult to know when there is a slight decrease in movement between the segments (vertebrae). Many practice, it is necessary to be aware of small differences in movement between the vertebrae in different areas of the spinal column. static palpation is what the chiropractor does when he or she is on hand on the back. He seeks the difference in skin temperature, sweat (perspiration), swelling and discomfort to the patient. Other ways to detect a subluxation include analysis leg length, muscle testing and reflexes. Many of the considerations used in conjunction with them to get more accurate results. As techniques to go, too many to be able to explain everything here. For more information about the techniques that can be viewed individually. Here are some to begin: Gonstead, switches, teaser diversified, Thompson, Activator, Network, Pettibon, and sacro-occipital technique (SOT). Good luck with your project!
