Birkenstock: The legacy of excellent orthopedic support
Before the family began to Birkenstock sandals, shoes with orthopedic inserts. It all started with a German cobbler named Konrad Birkenstock (from a long line of shoemakers, the registered name for the first time be Johann Adam Birkenstock was born in 1754). Konrad Birkenstock owned by two shoe stores in Frankfurt. At that time, shoes were made with a flat sole surface despite the soles of the feet, of course, bow feet. Konrad invented the first tool that has helped create shoes with shoe soles that have been adapted to the curvature of the feet of their customers. These shoes are as popular for some time, but ultimately could not compete with the new wave of mass-produced shoes in factories. Konrad went to the drawing board and this time (in 1902) developed a flexible sole that can be inserted in flat-soled shoes to provide arch support. This brand of chips has been developed in a line of shoes in 1964, which finally makes the United States, 1967.
Birkenstock sandals are incredibly comfortable with an orthotic mind. Made from a combination of cork, latex and jute, the sole of the sandal is designed to absorb shock. As a representative of Birkenstock says, Birkenstock sandals should give the impression walking on "wet sand." Other features include a raised bar sandal feet designed to help them with their fingers the natural gripping motion, and the heel which helps keep the foot in place.
Birkenstock are traditionally popular among dentists, teachers, etc -. people who spend all day on your feet recently sandals were considered a fashion accessory with the design of model Heidi Klum for Birkenstock sandals and sport itself. These shoes are comfortable in any situation, particularly useful for people with foot deformities or who are recovering from a foot operation. The shoes provide comfort and keep the foot in place. For people with bunions or claw toe, Birkenstock, can give your feet some room to maneuver, without compromising the media orthopedics (A problem with most flat-soled sandals).
