what kind of knee brace is this?

in my school’s basketball team all three of our centers wear knee braces. myself as well as another back-up center wear a simple kind of knee brace that you just slip on, and i’m guessing this is just for minor knee pains.

I really would have to see them but I would say since he is a starter his brace would be better. Since most likely none of your have arthritis (lol?) or have injured your knees its a Prophylactic knee brace and they just protect your kneed from injuries.
