Strap Injury Brace

Strap Injury Brace
Teens: Maybe you can help me? Tips on how to help recovery?

I tore my ACL back hours knee playing football. The doctor tied me up with a knee brace and told me things in general. maintenance remains high, at night, ice, etc, I have back next week for further discussion and to decide whether to require surgery. Is there anything else I can do to avoid this problem, or just by nature? I asked this last night in both injury and pain management, but only had a response between the two I thought I'd see if anyone here has some advice. Thanks =) Yes, if surgery is necessary, I will definitely go all the way as he had other operations before and cope well, but just to check if any way to avoid =)

Do not use heat on it yet. The heat will increase swelling. Make sure the ice. Follow RICE. Rest, Ice, Compression and Raise. If your doctor agrees to pain medications, take them when needed and Motrin / ibuprofen to reduce swelling maintain. Do not step on itself if stable or feel like you can not use crutches until your next appointment. If you need surgery, it's really not that bad. You enter, put you under, open and give an autograph or his body, at the end of his knee and in a manner that a pair Donjoy general. After surgery, only to collect, ice, keep walking involved and no about it until your doctor gives the green light. I think the PCL is about 3-6 months recovery time. Any work in physical therapy and knee feel the same, if not better than before. I play football too, I tore my ACL lfpm twice and had to have two knee surgeries on my left knee. I worked hard on PT and my left knee is better than my knee right now. While staying focused and positive about it is better, will have no problem. You may have to get a ligament booster for sports though. I have to use one. It is not so bad, it's a little awkward at first, but you get used a. Good luck
