Do API testing strips expire?

I bought a couple of boxes of API testing strips for my tank off of eBay. I found “8/07″ oh the label of the tube the strips came in. Is that the expiration date? Because if it is, then I’m definitely getting a refund.

Yes. That might be the manufacturing date though. You should also be aware that the chemicals in the strips start to break down when you open the package and they are exposed to oxygen. Liquid test drops are much more accurate.
