I sealed my game a few months ago. Now I want to stain my deck. How to prepare the wood?

I sealed my game, not three months. Now I want to stain cover. Do I have to remove the old seal so that the wood absorbs the stain? What should I do to prepare wood for color?

Do not close the cover, then stain. The sealant to prevent any type of product pigmented enter. Deck stain is actually pigmented sealer.
