Maternity Support Band subject of pain?

Hello. I saw the doctor today and asked about the floor I went. She told me to treat a belt maternity support / brace / something. Have you tried something like that? Is there a particular type or brand that works for you? Thank you very much.

I had two different types. I have one of my OB-only an elastic band that went under my belly, making a sort of "plateau" of my stomach to sit. I had to go to physical therapy because it does not help much because I also had problems with my hip. I have one, the PT, which held my hips in place and has also supported my belly. He always helps when I was on my feet, but like the rest of the time sitting or lying down I still had pain. Chiropractic has helped over two pelvic pain and hip and back pain that one of the belts done. In addition, exercises and massage I received physical therapy has helped a lot too. This just my experience. I am sure that seat belts work for other women because they seem to be big sellers. But for me, I have kept my money and went straight chiropractic or PT. Many chiropractors specialize in pregnant women, whether it is an option you could consider. Also, I prefer low-technology impact rather than the traditional "cracking." low-impact uses a combination of pressure points and massage your body and realign rather than force body position.
