4-way test strips for pools?

I put the tape in the water and check the colors on the package, but does not say how much, too soon. The results were: chlorine-free – 1, bromo – 2 pH – 7.8, alkalinity ppm – 120. So my question is what is supposed to be? What these results? (Incidentally, these results are not negative) Nothing more came in the package. HTH mark and came with 10 strips.

Its chlorine is a little weak. Depending the level of stabilizer (CYA), probably between 3 and 10 ppm. pH is in the higher end of normal, 7.2 to 7.8. The alkalinity of 120 ppm is a bit high, 60-90 is considered ideal, but you can control. Test strips are notoriously inaccurate. It is also very, very important to know the stabilizer (CYA) level which can determine the optimum chlorine. Please do yourself a favor and get a good test kit.
