What are good exercises (physiotherapy) I can do at home?

I hurt my entry into the house after taking my dog for cleaning the other day. I saw little tricycle for my son in front of me, and tried to bypass. In short I did not, and landed in my lap. I bruised my knee and left began to swell, and if I am out of any damage for long periods of time. I started with my corset. Has weakened. Now, my knee still appears out of whack. Yes, it hurts! Are there any exercises I can do to strengthen my knee (the therapy) at home. I thought the bike can help. Suggestions?

My best suggestion to you is go to an orthopedist. If the knee keeps popping out of joint "(I guess the ball?) May not need exercise at this stage, which may require immobilization.
