Thigh Quad Compression

what happens to this muscle?
Last Monday I took four to the right (thigh) in field hockey, so I stayed home Tuesday. and due to a problem with a physical form, who missed the rest of the week. i is the icing on Monday (25 minutes with an ice cold water for 30 minutes off) and I'm stretching a lot and felt better. Monday, started hurting again, so I continued icing and stretching and using my my left foot right, but now is very, very bad. I just finished icing and a bandage around it so …………. What should I do? I did the RICE (rest, ice, compression and elevation), but it does not seem to help ……. What I can do? thanks! = D
