Would u put a newborn baby in the maclaren techno xt?

Baby on way and i want a practical pushchair that will last for a couple of years. I use public transport but my boyfriend drives so need something lightweight and that folds up small. I want a pushchair that will be comfortable and cosy for my newborn and lie flat. Does anyone have this pushchair and what did they think of it and also did they use it with a newborn. The pros and cons! Any altertative out there let me know thanks!

bought for my son from newborn,it lies flat,zip on hood to pull down further than normal pram,its light and small.
still got mine and hes 2 nearly and gonna use on my new baby when i need it when my son starts playgroup soon so not pushing my tandem.
