Where do I collect a Free Basel Mobility Pass at the Basel AIRPORT?
Hi There,
I arrive in Basel at 20:40 this Monday. I have been told that I should be able to claim a free mobility pass from my accommodation.
Do I pick this up at the airport? I have read that i can use it to travel from the airport upon arrival so I presume I pick it up from a tourist office at the airport???? Am I correct?
I have to travel from the airport to Erasmusplatz, can anyone offer any guidance on the best route via public transport?

When I was in Basel long time ago they did not offer this service. I have checked a few websites of hotels and they all state that you will get your Mobility Ticket on check-in on arrival. To get from the airport to Erasmusplatz you will need a single 1-zone ticket at a fare of 3.20 swiss francs.
Bus service 50 departs from the airport to the central railway station [Basel Bahnhof SBB] every 15 minutes between 20:52 and 23:52 and at 0.02 and arrives at its final destination 13 minutes later.
From there you take bus service 30 towards Basel Badischer Bahnhof. Buses are departing every 15 minutes between 21:13 and 00:28 and reach the stop Erasmusplatz after an 8 minutes journey. It is the next stop following the crossing of the River Rhine. I usually try to provide sources for my statements, however the websites of the Basel local transport (BVB) and the North-West Switzerland local transport association do not have English versions.

I recommend to use the website of the Zurich local transport association. They have an English version and provide information for the Basel connections aswell.
