How do I install my tour Marlin 30 30 Rifle?

I'm looking to put a scarf on my rifle marlin 30 30. I see a picture on a website. It seems a shaft mounted magnetic tube and the other on the action. The rear looks like a big child about this? For my actions has what looks like a plastic cover, such time? My question is that no drilling and pin from there? Thanks!

husband linked here: Kahr T9 is on target. The plastic cover you see is Marlin brand "Bullseye." You can actually puchase a swivel harness kit manufactured by Uncle Mike Oregon (see link). The front turn actually clamps in the tube without perforating the magazine! When drilling the balance of the coarse thread is out!
