Tubing Tube Hose

How I can connect a hose or tube to a mere tap, so you can fill a large container?
The container does not fit in my small sink, then it must be completed with a small container of water each time, or you could attach a hose. Does anyone have any bright ideas on how could I?
Just grab a piece of tape from the hose and duct tape a lot !…. lol
