Well the first thing I will try to wet the leaf where it is to see if it still leaks. Then I'll deal with mineral oil and if it works, I'll try Vaseline. What I do is do a flexible joint to help with packing. If none of these work try to RTV. RTV is an adhesive that remains flexible. The easiest source because it is caulking a tub or window that can be purchased from your local hardware store. The problem RTV is that it is increasingly difficult to remove the back cover. If you just inflate the tube once a year should not be a big problem, but if they inflate and deflate each time use is more likely to cause damage as a result of the tube. One thing to keep in mind is that the new RTV will not stick to the RTV cure and in the tube.
