What do you ask? carpal tunnel syndrome?

My mother is suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists ensure both hands and fingers and even the shoulder. She is having surgery on the wrist for a short time, then the other, but is worried about the op and not I can work as always wrong. Does anyone have this condition or has had the op and can give some comfort to know whether the relief works and gives final op pain is constant. All related responses would be welcome thanks.
