How small is a “small purse” allowed on a flight?
Since the recent updates to security when flying into the US (I’m flying in from Canada), no carry-on luggage is allowed. You can take a purse however. These are the new rules I’m looking at from Transport Canada’s website:
“Passengers may carry with them one or more of the following items: medication or medical devices, small purses, cameras, coats, items for care of infants, laptop computers, crutches, canes, walkers, containers carrying life sustaining items, a special needs item, musical instruments, or diplomatic or consular bags.”

I want to know what they mean by a “small purse”. No totes obviously, but can anyone tell me where dimensions are listed?

There are no exact dimensions. But don’t bring a huge thing in and say its a purse. Something decent, maybe a little biger than your hand when its spread out (unless you have a huge hand which I doubt.)
