I a 4 wheel drive Durango it has saturation. Should driving with the O / D or off? and when you use overdrive?

The only time I do not use it when you drive and highway speeds are going up or down steep slopes, then use lower gears at low speed and the use of 3rd gear if the speed of 60 kilometers per hour speed or the road and approaching, for steep slopes or roadway.
