(Deep vein blood clot) treatment in the home?

I was in the hospital for six days, especially a blood clot PST in the leg, they gave me blood thinners and painkillers now I'm back home and I'm not sure what IM do what I walked in as far as I can handle (there are plenty of pain), but they gave me a wheelchair at home and uphold me how I can put a cold compress or a heating pad in the stretch that would make massage or advice amazing:) also, how long should the pain? like walking hurts but I know that all good so that blood can flow my doctor did not give me much advice

Short walks to help keep the circulation flowing, but sorry, I'm not sure many other things.
