What should I do if I have a wheelchair for my mother who has Alzheimer's disease?

There are many types of wheelchairs on the market but I would like some advice from people who use wheelchairs or have purchased previously. What are the essentials and make what is sought by selecting a chair? Any manufacturer in South Africa that you would recommend?
