Why do bankers wrap money so many turns with the rubber band?

I mean two turns are enough.. the money won’t fly away…Is this some kind of feeling of insecurity?
I heard we have on of the sweetest bankers in the middle east around here.. who is she??

To answer yr first q, it is called “bundling” or putting the currency with the same value in a bundle of 100s. On one side there will be a paper with the bank’s logo and a signature of the teller who counted and bundled that lot. For large categories like 50s or 100s, the poor teller adds a rubber band on the other side as well to make sure that no one can remove just one from the bundle. Coz if that happens and his signature is the one on the bundle he ends up paying whatever amount is missing if the customer complains.

As for how many times he wraps it up, its one of two things, ya2ma fada (he has nthg better to do), ya2ma he had enough of paying previous times……. (eda7ak 3leyh keteer abl keda, wala youlda3′ el mo2men men go7reen marateein).
