wrist carpal tunnel syndrome other pain?

It hurts on the fat under my thumb, the normal inside the bones of the wrist and small bumps, such as muscle spasms, along with my arm. Night all the way to two inches before my elbow. I use my mouse at work quite often. What can be an effective treatment? I do not think a hug would be useful is not supporting the thumb. I bought a film packet only once around the wrist and closes Velcro. Thanks for your responses.

It sounds like tendinitis. (Inflammation of the tendon) very common, and I'm on the computer too. I had the same thing, and one on Ace works very well. I know it seems that it is usual and I thought the same, but it works! Hope this helps!
