Is there a difference between taking the blood pressure in the arm on your wrist.?

What about using a cuff on the wrist when the wrist is not a machine available?

There are other areas we use to get a B / P over the brachial artery in the elbow, but a cuff is usually too large for use on the wrist. However, a small cuff size can be used above the ankle. I used the wrist devices and how well positioned they will not get an accurate reading.
